It's become a bit of a tradition for me to travel to the Valais area Switzerland in late October for the last week of proper mountain biking of the year. At this time of the season the mountaintops are already catching fresh snow, but the valleys are still a comfy 20 degrees and everything in between is vibrant with beautiful fall colors.
