I was honored to work with World Champion Tomas Slavik to tell the beautiful story of his career, his upbringing and his extraordinary life. We spend a short week with him and his family in the Czech Republic back and could not have been happier with the result. After it went live Tomas told me it's probably the best and most important video of his career... coming from this 3-time World Champion that means a lot.

This short doc was one of six athlete portraits produced for Ghost Bikes in 2020 & 2021. I asked my before-assistant Paul Hylkema to direct this film before he went out to film school full time, it was a pleasure to work on together.
