Kresten Kronborg is a man with an incredible passion for the outdoors and simple but delicious fire-cooked food. I was asked to eternalize his story by Feriecenter Slettestrand, a hotel and activity center in the north of Denmark that Kresten's 'Madsmedjen' or 'food smith' experience is a part of. A portrait.
I already met Kresten one time before working with him, and when flying to Denmark to film his story it was a great experience to follow him around for a few days and join in his wonder for nature’s wealth. This film was shot in two days, and with help from Kristian Skjød (and the tiny bit of comprehension I have of the Danish language) the edit went almost flawless, too. Truly a pleasure.
